Our Roots

With a strong background in customer support, Rent A Tech Guy founder Jim Parrish brings a customer-focused approach to everything he does. With over 20 years of technology development experience, Jim has been "supporting customers" and "simplifying the complex" while staying focused on solving the end users needs.

People often ask me why I left corporate management to start this business and the answer is really simple, "Rent a Tech Guy is how I get my customer service fix" and what I truly love doing is, "Solving Problems".

Jim understands the power of an excellent customer experience, including first impressions, personal interactions and lasting connections.

"For 20 years I have been solving problems for a living. While working in the corporate world was very good for me, I personally enjoy working with individuals and helping them solve their problems".

There is nothing more enjoyable than seeing the look on a customers face when we solve a seemingly insurmountable problem(wait, I forgot about fishing! I like fishing just a little bit more).
